Tri County Building Centers are rooted in Michigan's historic Upper Peninsula lumber industry. From the lore of lumberjacks, lumber mills and the tall cedar and hardwood trees of the eastern Upper Peninsula, Tri County Building Centers grew with those independently spirited settlers of this untamed north helping to build their homes, schools, churchs and businesses.

Each location serves a unique blend of customers from residential to commercial, vacation homes to Victorian style homes, from log homes to institutions such as schools, casinos, banks and more. We specialize in pole barn, garage, cabin and home packages to fit the customer's needs. We also provide custom computerized design for kitchens and baths along with custom computer matching for paints. And we deliver.

Yet, products and lumber are not all that make Tri County Building Centers valuable to their respective communities. Our employees are people committed to serving their towns and villages as they volunteer as coaches, serve on school boards, teach in their church programs, participate in Fourth of July parades and community celebrations.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, in particular, are strong advocates of the arts hosting special performances to benefit area arts councils and donating toward school and community theater groups.

Tri County Building Centers serve not just their customers but also their communities. Our customers are our neighbors and together our future is in making the eastern Upper Peninsula our home.
